The story
Dhaaga Dastan is not just a clothing brand; it is the story of two sisters, driven by a dream, courage, and relentless hard work.
Coming from a small village, the two of us made a decision one day that we wanted to build something of our own. We had no prior business experience, no formal knowledge of the fashion industry, and no idea how daunting it would be to start a venture in a bustling metropolis like Lahore. Yet, deep in our hearts lived an unshakable dream: to build a brand that would define our own identity.
With that dream in hand, we moved to Lahore. A new city, unfamiliar faces, and an entirely different world in the beginning, everything felt overwhelming. We knew little about fabric grades, cut-and-sew techniques, sourcing reliable suppliers, navigating wholesale markets, or handling day-to-day business operations. Determined to learn, we walked the narrow lanes of Lahore’s bustling bazaars, asked questions at every turn, examined materials, and learned through trial and error.
Along the way, we met all kinds of people. At times we were misdirected, sometimes we compromised on quality without realizing it, and there were moments when scammers cost us hard-earned money. Yet, every setback taught us something invaluable.
The begining
Instead of walking away, we turned every obstacle into a masterclass.
Step by step, we learned the nuances of textiles, mastered the art of recognizing premium quality, refined our silhouettes, obsessed over the finer details of stitching and finishing, and most importantly, learned to listen to what women truly need in their everyday wear.
Out of this struggle, continuous learning, and pure passion, Dhaaga Dastan was born. Where we stand today did not happen overnight. Behind every thread of this brand lies our persistence; behind every design is intentional thought; and behind every order is a dream coming to life.
Our Vision
Our vision is simple: Dhaaga Dastan shouldn’t just sell clothes. We want every woman who wears our pieces to feel confident, valued, and truly special.
From a quiet village to the heart of Lahore, from knowing nothing about business to building our own label this is our story.
